Description
Compact in your bag, this Petzl rope is light and flexible. Duratec Dry treatment offers longevity and performance under varied conditions. It offers excellent grip for easier handling.
Note: Half and twin ropes are designed to be used in matching pairs (size, length and brand should match). Using a mismatched pair can cause excessive wear on the ropes, exposing you to a higher risk of rope failure. Never climb with only 1 half or twin rope, unless it has also been rated as a single rope.
Features
- Ultralightweight rope for performance climbing and mountaineering
- Great diameter-to-weight ratio
- Compact in the rope bag
- Duratec Dry treatment extends the life of the rope
- For use in rock, mixed, snow or ice environments, this water-repellent treatment makes the rope more resistant to water, dirt and abrasion
- Thanks to Duratec Dry, this rope’s good handling, grip and other characteristics are retained longer in cold, wet conditions
- UltraSonic Finish: The core and sheath are bonded together at the rope ends by an UltraSonic process, which provides greater durability and helps avoid frayed ends
- Flexibility makes it easier to uncoil the rope, manage loops and give slack with belay devices
- EverFlex treatment: Specific thermal treatment stabilizes core strands and improves consistency, providing excellent grip and consistent handling over time
- ClimbReady coil makes the rope ready to use, helps avoid initial uncoiling mistakes and increases longevity
- 40-carrier grip for better control
- A mark indicates the middle of the rope for easier rope management
- Duratec Dry is free from intentionally added PFAS (per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances), to reduce the use of substances known to be harmful to health and the environment
