Cannondale Trail 16 Single-Speed Kids’ Bike

• With 1-speed simplicity, a coaster brake and an easy-to-use hand brake, this lightweight Cannondale bike is perfect for building skills and having fun
• Built for building confidence and skills in kids who are 3 ft. 8 in. to 4 ft. tall (112–122 cm)
• For kids just starting out, this little machine is the perfect transition from a balance bike or tricycle
• If they’re already pedaling, this bike will up your game everywhere from the sidewalk to dirt tracks
• Durable lightweight alloy frame makes for a light bike that’s easier to handle and more fun to ride
• 16 in. alloy rims with tires are comfortable and grippy, on-road or off
• Scooter-style training wheels are quiet and reliable as your kid is finding their groove; tool-free design makes the training wheels easy to remove and reinstall
• Single-speed drivetrain is simple, so it’s easier for kids who are just learning to ride to focus on finding their balance and learning how to safely ride the bike
• A full-coverage chainguard keeps pants and fingers away from the chain, and a fitted stem cover makes mess-ups a little less painful
• Bike weighs no more than 30–40% of a child’s weight, because a light bike is easier and more fun to ride
• Kid-correct stand-over height makes it easier for kids to get on and off the bike
• Kid-correct reach keeps kids in comfortable control of the bike
• Kid-correct gearing—lower gearing and shorter crankarms are designed for shorter, less powerful legs, with a narrower Q-Factor (width) for a more natural stance
• All this makes it easier for kids to get moving and to stay moving
• Sized to fit kids’ anatomies, with a smaller handlebar and grips, kid-specific seat and pedals sized for kids’ feet
• Hand brakes are paired with coaster brakes on single-speed bikes so kids can build the skills they will need for their next bike
