OVERVIEW

The Toyo Proxes ST II is a touring all season tire manufactured for sport utility and light truck vehicles.

The tire provides excellent all weather traction and road gripping ability. The computer optimized unidirectional all season tread design with the multi-wave siping detail improves the dry, wet and winter weather traction and road gripping ability. The wide tread grooves actively prevent hydroplaning by eliminating water from below the tire footprint. The better hydroplaning resistance and exceptional all weather traction guarantee a safer year round driving experience.

The model promotes an extended tread life. The tread pattern’s multi-wave siping design and the linear grooving lower the pressure on the block edges. This combination prevents irregular wear patterns from forming across the tread area. They evenly distribute the driving stress and the forces of acceleration, cornering and braking across the tread surface to ensure an extended tread life and tire usability.

The linear grooving also makes the tire’s controllability effortless. It stabilizes the tire against the driving pressure affecting it and increases the steering responsiveness and accuracy. The stabilized tire does not deform under the driving pressure, while its steering becomes quick and precise in its responsiveness to the driver’s commands. As a result, the driver is able to confidently control the tire in all conditions. The shoulder tread block sequences improve the cornering ability and power.
