OVERVIEW

The Toyo Proxes RR is a high performance summer tire manufactured for racing vehicles. This competition tire was approved for highway use by the US Department of Transportation.

The tires stronger compound and reinforced construction work together to ensure a secure high speed performance. The racing compound lengthens the tires usability on the tracks and maintaining its traction throughout the drive, which ensures the models longer lasting tread life. The strengthened sidewall and high-modulus bead filler prevent the tires deformation under the high speed driving pressure affecting the model. This combination enables the model to securely perform at its best high speed capability at all times.

The slick tread design with the circumferential grooves keeps the models surface contact during the drive. The better surface contact upgrades the tires controllability, by enhancing the steering responsiveness and driving stability. In other words, the steering becomes faster and more precise in its response to the drivers commands, while the structure is stabilized against the driving pressure affecting the model. The better road contact also improves the dry weather traction. The larger surface contact area and the durable compound ensure the tires traction in dry summer weather conditions, offering a safer performing ability.

The Proxes RR features special wear inspection holes around its tread area. These holes allow the driver to follow the models tread wear rate, as they visually represent the tread wear manner and rate along the tread area. This ensures a secure performance as the tire is not driven on a worn out tread.
