Haida Puma HD818
OVERVIEW
The Haida Puma HD818 is a mud terrain, all season tire manufactured for light trucks and SUVs.
The tire boosts the mud terrain traction. The aggressive tread design’s staggered tread blocks and the high void ratio improve the soft, loose and uneven terrain grip. These tread elements improve the grip on the road surface in versatile terrain surface conditions, ensuring the forward motion on soft dirt and through deep mud terrains. These tread elements allow the tire to improve the different off-road terrain surface conditions, guaranteeing the driver’s safer performing ability.
The tread design’s high void ratio and staggered tread elements allow the tire to improve the self-cleaning capability. These tread elements work together to disperse mud and snow and to eject rocks stuck between the tread elements. In this manner, the tire avoids stone retention from harming the casing by preventing rocks from drilling into the tread area. On the other hand, the tread eliminates mud and snow from the footprint, preventing them from blocking the surface contact during the drive. This combination greatly improves the versatile terrain performing traction, while protecting the tire from damage.
The Haida Puma HD818 boosts the controllability as well. The maintained surface contact upgrades the steering responsiveness and the driving stability at all times. In other words, the tire is quicker and more precise in its response to the driver’s commands, while the structure is secured against the driving pressure affecting the tire. As a result, the driver has better control over the vehicle throughout its off-road terrain performance.
The intended purpose of Mud Terrain tire types is off-road use. They are not designed for regular highway driving.
Not all tire sizes are suitable for all vehicle types. Please refer to the item specifications for accurate information about vehicle type fitment for this particular size.
Manufacturers recommend changing tires every 10 years. As long as tires are properly stored before they are sold, the year of their manufacture will not shorten their service life.
