Today, many recycled products generate more CO2 than new materials. This is not the case with the Nexis CC thread used for the SunRise rope. While 1 kg of standard polyamide 6 generates 6.97 kg of CO2, polyamide 6 CC generates only 1.53 kg of CO2.
