OVERVIEW

The Pirelli P Zero Corsa System Asimmetrico 2 is a high performance, summer tire made for sporty passenger vehicles. This tire was designed for rear axle applications.

This summer tire has excellent dry weather traction and will grip the road well. However, it is not suited for winter weather driving. Although this model also has good wet tracking, because it is a performance tire it is not recommended to use in rainy conditions, as the tire is at risk of hydroplaning in deeper water and will not function well.

The tire was manufactured with Pirelli’s P Zero Corsa System, which was used for track and competition tires. Because of this, the model performs well both on-road and on the racing track at high speeds. It has maximized traction in these conditions thanks to the special tread compound used in the tire’s manufacture. Its high speed stability is also due to its special structure which features flexible steel belts reinforced with spirally wrapped nylon. This special structure gives the tire its high speed durability.

The P Zero Corsa System Asimmetrico 2’s handling is also exceptional. Its specialized symmetric tread design and its wide road-to-tire contact area offers better control over the tire and makes its handling effortless. This tire is also manufactured to be safer. The special racing tire compound offers maximized traction and better road grip during braking situations, which shortens the braking distance. The reinforced structure, consisting of flexible steel belts with the spirally wrapped nylon, provides additional biting edges during cornering and boosts its cornering capability.

Manufacturers recommend changing tires every 10 years. As long as tires are properly stored before they are sold, the year of their manufacture will not shorten their service life.
