Pirelli Cinturato WeatherActive 225/50R17 94V All Weather Tire

Pirelli Cinturato WeatherActive

OVERVIEW

The Pirelli Cinturato WeatherActive is a touring, all weather tire made for passenger vehicles and SUVs. This model has some high performance tire sizes available as well. Pirelli offers a 60,000 mile treadwear warranty with this model.

The model offers excellent all weather traction. In this manner, the symmetric tread pattern closely follows the road in different weather conditions, while the all weather compound keeps the rubber flexible in summer and winter temperatures. As a result, these elements increase the performance in dry, wet, and winter conditions. This tire has a 3PMS symbol on the sidewall, which means that this model can easily perform even on ice- and snow-cover roads. Large grooves prevent hydroplaning, by dispersing water and slush from the footprint.

Excellent controllability is provided with this model. The symmetric tread pattern manages to maintain close road contact at all times. It increases the steering response time and accuracy to the driver’s commands, while the structure is secured against driving pressure. The wide shoulder blocks utilize the siping detail, which upgrades the cornering ability. At the same time, the strengthened internal structure and the durable rubber compound enhance the high speed durability.

Better tread life is guaranteed. The directional tread pattern, with the special elements, evenly distributes the driving pressure along the tread area. On the other hand, the wear-resistant compound reduces the treadwear rate significantly. They actively prevent irregular and premature wear formations across the tread area, which boosts the tire’s service life and usability.

The Pirelli Cinturato WeatherActive guarantees a quiet and comfortable driving experience. The ideal tread design’s close road contact decreases road and tread noise levels. This makes sure they are not heard in the vehicle’s cabin. This footprint channels airwaves away from the tread elements, which prevents sound waves from being generated. This tread allows the passengers to enjoy a quiet performance.

All weather tires receive the three mountain peak and snowflake (3PMS) symbol for their exceptional winter weather performance. They are all season tires with extra winter weather grip, in order to guarantee safer year-round durability. This ensures their true and secure driving ability throughout the year.

Manufacturers recommend changing tires every 10 years. As long as tires are properly stored before they are sold, the year of their manufacture will not shorten their service life.
