The 3-1/2-Inch SDS-MAX and SPLINE Carbide-Tipped Thick-Wall Core Bit makes effortless cuts in masonry and other hard materials. This concrete core bit fits the 48-03-3573, 48-03-3565, 48-03-3564 and 48-03-3572 adapter shanks. The bit cuts only on its edge, which reduces cutting time and leaves you with a cut-out core of material. Since it’s hollow, the Milwaukee® core bit has a maximum cutting depth of 4-3/8 inches. You get a hole with a diameter of 3-1/2 inches so you can run pipe, drains vents or conduit through concrete. A thick-wall design adds incredible durability without any significant sacrifice of cutting speed. The bit has no tip, but includes a guide plate and centering pin to ensure that your holes get properly centered for exceptional accuracy.
