Designed for the drivers of sport utility vehicles, crossovers, light-duty vans and pickup trucks, the Premier LTX is Michelin’s Crossover/SUV Touring All-Season light truck tire. Amazingly, even when these tires are worn, they are designed to stop shorter on wet roads than leading competitors’ brand-new tires, as well as provide all-season traction on wintry roads.

A Michelin Total Performance tire, the Premier LTX promotes innovative technologies to bring numerous achievements together like stopping power combined with driving control, weather appropriateness and increased fuel efficiency. To increase traction in wet and cold temperatures, the Premier LTX tire use an ultimate silica and sunflower oil enhanced tread compound. This compound is molded into a tread design that is symmetric and features a continuous center rib flanked by notched intermediate ribs and linked shoulder blocks to combine straight-line tracking with responsive dry-road handling. The tire also includes Michelin’s EverGrip Technology adding Expanding Rain Grooves and Emerging Grooves. As the tire wears, the Expanding Rain Grooves widen while Emerging Grooves open up to help retain more traction in wet and frozen conditions.
