Combining responsive handling with great ride and noise comfort, the Michelin Pilot HX MXM4 is an All-Season Grand Touring tire that provides year-round traction, even in light snow. Featuring a weather-tuned tread compound molded into a symmetric tread design, the Pilot HX MXM4 administers improved traction in a wide variety of weather conditions. The tire?s circumferential grooves enhance wet traction by evacuating water from the tire’s footprint to greatly reduce the chance of hydroplaning, while the independent tread blocks equip the tire with snow biting edges. The internal makeup of the Pilot HX MXM4 implements twin steel belts that are reinforced by Michelin’s BAZ (Banded At Zero) that stabilizes the tread area and greatly improves handling and high-speed capability.
