Michelin’s Street/Sport Truck Summer tire, the 4×4 Diamaris, is designed to bring luxury sport utility vehicles the ultimate level of traction on wet or dry roads. Molding a wet weather compound into an asymmetric tread design, the 4×4 Diamaris features a large outer shoulder blocks that allow steering response and cornering security. Enhancing steering precision and high-speed stability, a continuous center rib as well two wide, circumferential and multiple lateral grooves channel water to greatly reduce the chance of hydroplaning in wet conditions. The interior structure has two high-tensile steel belts reinforced by Michelin’s BAZ that increases stability at high speeds all while improving tire uniformity and reducing weight to deliver even-ride traits.
