OVERVIEW

The Landgolden LG17 is a performance and high performance, all season tire manufactured for passenger vehicles. It has some toruign sizes as well. Landgolden offers a 65,000 mile treadwear warranty with H and V speed-rated sizes and a 55,000 mile treadwear warranty with W speed-rated tires.

The model ensures excellent all weather traction. The all season tire compound and the tread design work together to increase the dry, wet and winter weather road gripping ability. The compound maintains its flexibility and traction even in colder temperatures, while the tread elements find good grip throughout the year. The four main wide circumferential grooves avoid hydroplaning by eliminating water and slush from below the tire’s footprint. This results in a safer year round driving experience.

The specially designed tread pattern manages to improve the tire’s controllability. The tread features a continuous solid center rib that is in contact with the road surface at all times. This enhances the steering responsiveness and driving stability greatly. The steering becomes faster and more precise in its responsiveness to the driver’s commands, while the structure is stabilized against the driving pressure. The better control the driver has over the tires enables the vehicle to safely perform at high speeds. The tire is resistant to the high speed pressure affecting it during the drive and enables a secure performance in all conditions.

The tread design’s creates an optimized footprint that keeps its road contact throughout the year. The better road contact evenly spreads the driving pressure out across the tread area. The equally circulated forces of acceleration, cornering and braking lengthen the tread life by preventing irregular tread wear formations across the tread area. The longer lasting even tread wear elongates the tread life and the tire’s usability.

The LG17 ensures a quiet drive. The tread’s closed shoulder tread pattern does not allow the airwaves to enter the tire’s footprint and come into contact with the tread elements. In this manner, the road noise is not generated while the tires are in motion, guaranteeing a comfortable and quiet performance.

Manufacturers recommend changing tires every 10 years. As long as tires are properly stored before they are sold, the year of their manufacture will not shorten their service life.
