Kohler automatic transfer switches are the brains behind your generator system. The automatic transfer switch (ATS) continuously monitors the power coming from your utility. When the power goes out, the ATS automatically transfers power from the utility to your generator. When utility power is restored, the ATS turns off your generator and transfers back to power from the utility grid. The Kohler RXT 100-Amp Service Entrance Rated Indoor/Outdoor Automatic Transfer Switch is designed for use only with Kohler generator sets equipped with RDC2 or DC2 generator set/transfer switch controls. This standard 100 AMP single phase model is equipped with two single-phase poles and rated for 240-volts. With a combined interface/load management board, the ATS automatically manages up to six residential loads – up to four customer-supplied, non-essential secondary loads and two independent HVAC loads. This ATS is rated for indoor or outdoor use with a corrosion-resistant, pad lockable NEMA 3R aluminum enclosure that protects internal components from rain, snow, ice, debris, and dust. KOHLER automatic transfer switches are complete with a five-year/2000 hour limited warranty, backed by a network of more than 10,000 dealers.
