OVERVIEW

The JK Tyre UX1 is a performance and high performance, all season tire manufactured for passenger vehicles and SUVs.

The tire ensures great all weather traction. The asymmetric tread design and the all season compound manage to increase the dry, wet and winter weather road gripping ability. The asymmetric tread’s groove pattern and notch placement increase the grip by boosting the number of biting edges. The compound, on the other hand, keeps the tire’s flexibility in various temperatures and optimizes the traction and performance. The circumferential grooves help avoid hydroplaning. These grooves channel water and slush from the footprint and maintain the tire’s road contact at all times. In this manner, the tire upgrades the year round driving safety.

The model’s constant contact with the road surface improves the controllability. The better road contact allows the tire to increase the steering responsiveness and the driving stability throughout the tire’s performance. As a result, the steering becomes faster and more precise in its response to the driver’s commands, while the structure is stabilized against the driving pressure affecting the model. The model was designed with a flexible sidewall construction which optimizes the tire’s sidewall flexibility during cornering and maneuvering. This, along with the shoulder tread block pattern’s road contact, significantly upgrades the cornering ability and power. The detailed groove and notch pattern help shorten the braking distance. They create friction between the tire and the road surface to boost the braking ability throughout the tire’s performance.

The UX1 provides a quiet drive. The tread design features a variable pitch sequence which decreases the road and tread pattern noise heard while the tires are in motion. This sequence generates a sound frequency that cancels out the noise by negating the sound waves created during the drive. In this manner, the road and tread pattern noise does not reach the vehicle’s cabin and they cannot ruin the passenger’s driving comfort. This results in a quiet and enjoyable driving experience.

Manufacturers recommend changing tires every 10 years. As long as tires are properly stored before they are sold, the year of their manufacture will not shorten their service life.
