Ideal for oil, coal, or heavy wood burner chimneys, the stainless steel Draft King chimney cap by HY-C Company is constructed of 100% 304 stainless steel and built to withstand the toughest of conditions. This cap’s durability is rugged enough to tackle and apply within 25 miles of a saltwater coast. Its high-quality construction includes a 24 gauge stainless steel hood with scalloped corners and roll-formed edges, an 18 gauge 3/4″ expanded stainless steel mesh, and a 16 gauge stainless steel base integrated for added strength. Like all Draft King chimney caps, the outside mounting design engineers a maximum free air space allowing an uninhibited chimney draft. Using slotted hex head stainless steel mounting bolts, Draft King’s unique corner chimney cap mounting attachment provides the most secure fit possible to masonry flue tile.
