OVERVIEW

The Goodyear G614 RST is a highway terrain, all season tire manufactured for commercial vehicles. This model was made for the vehicle’s trailer axle. This model also has some SPECIAL TRAILER sizes available as well.

The tire promotes great all weather traction. The ribbed tread pattern design with the siping detail enhances the dry, wet and winter weather road gripping ability. This tread design ensures that the tire maintains its road contact at all times. The ribbed design’s circumferential grooves manage to effectively resist hydroplaning by eliminating water and slush from below the tire’s footprint. The enhanced hydroplaning prevention and the all weather traction ensure a safer year round performance and driving experience.

The tire’s solid shoulder ribs keep the tire’s road contact constantly, which manages to enhance the steering responsiveness and driving stability. In other words, the maintained road contact boosts the tire’s steering responsiveness and accuracy to the towing vehicle’s instructions, while also stabilizing the tire against the driving forces affecting it. The better road contact ensures a secure drive as it keeps the tire close to the road surface at all times.

The G614 RST provides a longer lasting tread life and better durability. The shoulder tread design and the shallow tread evenly distribute the driving pressure along the tread area. This equally spread out forces of accelerating, cornering and braking actively prevent irregular tread wear formations, extending the tread life and the tire’s usability. The optimized tougher casing and mold shape, on the other hand, increase the model’s durability. The tire maintains its optimal shape under the driving pressure affecting the tires during the drive.

Manufacturers recommend changing tires every 10 years. As long as tires are properly stored before they are sold, the year of their manufacture will not shorten their service life.
