OVERVIEW

The Goodyear EfficientGrip ROF is a performance and high performance, summer tire manufactured for passenger vehicles and SUVs.

The tire promotes great summer weather traction. The special tire compound and the tread design work together to enhance the dry and wet weather traction. However, the tire is not meant to be used in winter weather. The compound does not maintain its flexibility, while the tread is not capable of firmly gripping the road surface. The wide circumferential grooves manage to keep the tire close to the road surface by effectively dispersing water from below the tire’s footprint. The result is a safer summer weather performance.

This model is a run flat tire, which means that it can be driven on after air pressure loss for a limited time. The tire’s reinforced internal structure strengthens the tire to be able to withstand the vehicle’s weight in case of air pressure loss. In this manner, the tire can be used for 50 miles up to the speed of 50 mph after the air pressure leaves the tire, preventing the driver from being stranded on the side of the road.
