OVERVIEW

The Firestone FR710 is a touring all season tire manufactured for passenger vehicles. Firestone offers a 65,000 mile treadwear warranty with this tire model.

The tire promotes excellent all weather road gripping ability. It maintains constant road contact which increases the dry, wet and winter weather traction. Even in winter weather, the tire is capable of maintaining excellent road grip. The special wide flow-through circumferential grooves and the deep shoulder slot design boost the water and slush dispersing ability and improve the tire’s resistance to dangerous hydroplaning, offering a safer year round drive.

The model was manufactured with L. L. Carbon. This element in the tire compound and the tread pattern’s continuous shoulder ribs lower the possibility of uneven tread wear forming across the tread area. The L. L. Carbon creates an interconnecting chain along the entire tire which distributes the driving pressure evenly along the tire’s tread surface, preventing irregular tread wear from forming on the tire. The Long Link Carbon also enhances the tire against damages, such as cracking, chipping and tearing, increasing its usability.

The internal structure features the O-Bead technology. This technology places a single continuous strand of cable in the tire’s bead, which optimized the tire’s contact with the rim. The special bead design cushions the tire against the driving pressure and optimizes the tire’s shape. It allows the tire to closely follow the road surface which reduces the road vibrations felt in the vehicle’s cabin. The better road vibration levels ensure a safer and more comfortable driving experience in all weather.

The FR710 improves the tire’s handling. The wider tire footprint maintains contact road contact which improves the cornering, the steering and the driving stability. The wider footprint promotes extra biting edges that firmly grip the road during cornering situations.
