Thanks to its high-volume rim design and wide hookless bead technology, the ENVE SES 3.4 rear wheel is a favorite for mixed surfaces that reduces your chance of getting stranded with a pinch-flat.
Features
- Pinch-flat resistance, low weight and an aero profile optimized around high-volume tires make the SES 3.4 an adept all-around wheel
- Full carbon rim is optimized to improve tubeless tire and rim reliability with a hookless bead design
- This design allows for the precise rim dimensions required to achieve the best tubeless performance
- Wide hookless bead design reduces chances of pinch-flatting or tire damage by providing a blunt surface and dissipating energy across a larger surface area if tire bottoms out
- Inner-drive mechanism with oversize 42 mm steel ratchets positioned inboard and over the bearings, reducing stress on the axle and bearings while ensuring positive engagement
- Interchangeable ratchets (not included) allow riders to easily tune their rides for their personal performance needs—whether maximizing efficiency, response or reliability
- Straight pull hubs use equal spoke lengths with an anti-twist spoke design to improve wheel strength and performance
- Hub also features a lightweight alloy shell, stainless-steel sealed bearings and easy-to-service axle system
- Molded spoke hole technology results in a more durable and reliable carbon-fiber rim and wheel
- 42 mm rear depth and 25 mm internal rim width support a minimum tire size of 27 mm; aero-optimized design around 29 mm tires; for use with tubeless tires only
- Rims are pretaped and tubeless ready
