The Dunlop Winter Maxx tire is a studless winter tire with great ice and snow traction for coupes, sedans, minivans and crossovers for the best driving control on winter roads.   Dunlop Winter Maxx tires give you much better traction in slush, snow and on ice compared to any all-season tire.  They have Dunlop Tire’s most advanced silica-enhanced Nano-Fit Rubber tread rubber compound molded into an asymmetric tread design. This type of tread design helps provide grip on cold dry roads as well.  The three-dimensional interlocking zigzag sipes enhanced block rigidity to promote snow and ice traction, but are very stable on dry roads for better handling and longer treadwear.  For strength, the Dunlop Winter Maxx tire has an internal structure mad up of JointLess Band (JLB) Technology. These spiral wraps of nylon reinforcement cord over two steel belts and extra, polyester cord in the sidewalls help protect the tire against road hazards.  The Dunlop Winter Maxx tire also meets the industry’s severe snow service requirements and are branded with the mountain/snowflake symbol.
