- Offers efficient climbing characteristics as well as dent-resistance for trails
- Tubeless-capable, sleeved aluminum rim with a specific 30 mm internal width for efficiency and grip
- The 2.0 mm diameter DT champion spokes are made of steel to resist the high radial forces that occur on the wheel from the drive and brake torques
- Rear wheel has a M 1900 SPLINE 370 hub upgraded with the Ratchet LN freehub system for even higher reliability
- The reliability of the Ratchet System comes from the fact that each tooth engages simultaneously; in comparison, the pawl system has much smaller engagement surfaces
