Delium Velocita GN2 IA-182
OVERVIEW
The Delium Velocita GN2 IA-182 is a performance and high performance, all season tire manufactured for SUVs and passenger vehicles.
The tire promotes great all season traction. The all season compound and the detailed asymmetric footprint manage to ensure the tire’s year round application. The special notch and sipe placement creates a higher number of biting edges, which ensures the tire’s constant surface grip. On the other hand, the durable compound keeps the tire pliable throughout the year, even in colder winter conditions. The tread features four circumferential grooves which disperse water and slush from the footprint. In this manner, the tire boosts its overall wet traction by resisting hydroplaning.
This model’s high speed controllability is ensured as well. The asymmetric pattern’s ribs guarantee a constant road contact, which enhances the steering responsiveness and driving stability. The shoulder block placement and its details help to upgrade the cornering power. They provide extra biting edges, which ensures the tire’s exceptional turning safety. These tread elements, along with the remaining sipes and notches, generate friction while braking. In this manner, the model is able to significantly shorten the overall braking capability.
Heat-resistant compound elements work together with the stronger internal structure to optimize the tire’s high speed durability. The compound, along with the asymmetric footprint, eases the pressure off the tire, minimizing the driving forces affecting it during its performance. This construction does not deform under the load and driving pressure, guaranteeing a safer high speed performing capability.
The Velocita GN2 IA-182 offers great comfort levels as well. The asymmetric pattern features a variable pitch phase shift which creates a special sound-canceling frequency. This allows the tire to minimize the sound wave reaching the vehicle’s cabin, as they are negated while the tires are in motion. In this manner, the tire promotes a quiet driving experience.
Manufacturers recommend changing tires every 10 years. As long as tires are properly stored before they are sold, the year of their manufacture will not shorten their service life.
