A studless winter tire, the Cooper Discoverer True North is designed for use on coupes, sedans, CUVs, SUVs, and minivans and features an asymmetrical tread pattern that enhances traction and handling performance on icy, slushy, snowy, and frozen roads. Wide grooves drain water out of the tread to reduce the risk of hydroplaning, and the Discoverer True North’s dense sipes bite into the road to boost grip on icy and snowy roads. Additionally, the Discoverer True North is built with Cooper’s patented Snow Groove Technology that traps snow into the tread to further boost traction, handling, and braking capabilities on snowy roads.
