The Potenza RE070R RFT features an asymmetric tread pattern with grooves that channel water away to resist hydroplaning, and a rubber formulation that’s engineered for long wear and unbeatable traction, along with run-flat design that lets a driver keep going up to 50 miles at speeds less than 50 MPH, even after total loss of inflation. Like all ultra-high-performance tires, the tread formulation of the Potenza RE070R RFT stiffens in colder weather, so these tires should not be used when temperatures are below 40 degrees Fahrenheit.
