OVERVIEW

The Bridgestone Blizzak LM001 RFT is a performance, winter tire manufactured for passenger vehicles.

The model promotes a secure winter weather traction. The winter weather compound and the detailed directional tread pattern increase the grip the tire has on ice and snow-covered road surfaces. The compound keeps the tire’s pliability in colder temperatures, guaranteeing a secure performance. The directional tread pattern with the 3D full depth siping pattern increases the number of biting edges gripping the road surface throughout the tire’s performance. This enables the tire to securely perform in various winter conditions. The rounded shoulder junctions and vari-width grooves of the tread pattern increases the hydroplaning resistance. This tread disperses water and slush from below the footprint to further boost the road contact and the cold temperature driving safety.

This tire model offers a limited, temporary performance after air pressure loss. Once air pressure leaves the tire, its strengthened internal structure maintains the ideal tire shape under the weight of the vehicle and its passengers. This enables the tire to be driven on for 50 miles up to the speed of 50 mph, increasing the driving safety. In other words, after air pressure loss the vehicle will not be stranded on the side of the road, but it can be driven to a nearby location where the damaged tire can be fixed or damaged.
