OVERVIEW
The Atturo ST340 is a highway, all season tire designed for trailers. This model is also available in some commercial trailer sizes. This tire is NOT MEANT TO BE MOUNTED ON LIGHT TRUCKS, as its construction will not support the weight and performing style of such vehicles. It can ONLY BE MOUNTED ON TRAILERS.
The symmetric footprint ensures constant road contact, which boosts the tire’s steering responsiveness and towing stability. The tread design guarantees a quick and accurate steering response to the towing vehicle’s commands, while the structure is secure against driving pressure. The outer ribs boost the model’s cornering and maneuvering.
The ideal tread pattern and the all season compound increase the tire’s traction in dry, wet, and light winter weather. The optimized tread design keeps the surface contact in versatile weather conditions, while the all season compound maintains pliability in warm and cold temperatures. On the other hand, the wide circumferential grooves prevent hydroplaning by eliminating water and slush from the footprint. This effectively protects the tire against slipping in wet situations.
The reinforced internal structure and the special silica compound boost the tire’s load and driving durability. These elements do not allow the tire to deform under load and driving pressure. As the tire does not deform, it can easily carry and withstand heavy loads. As a result, this tire offers great load-carrying capacity and handling power.
The Atturo ST340’s ideal tread pattern and the wear-resistant compound prevent irregular and premature wear formations. In this manner, the tread pattern evenly distributes driving pressure along the tread area, while the special silica compound reduces the treadwear rate. This slow and even wear guarantees a longer-lasting tread life.
