Durable, dry, comfortable and easy-to-assemble, the Mountain Hardwear Trango 3 tent is designed to shelter 3 climbers (or 2 plus gear) in unrelenting alpine conditions.
Features
- DAC Featherlite® extruded aluminum poles have high strength-to-weight ratio and are anodized with a proprietary method that reduces wastewater and the use of harmful chemicals
- Color coding makes for easy pole setup
- Direct connection point secures tent body, frame and fly at each guyout point for a solid connection between all 3 components
- 2 dual canopy/mesh doors; 2 vestibules
- Large dry-entry vestibule with a sleeved internal pole on one side provides ample headroom and gear storage
- Snow flaps on vestibule seal out spindrift
- Waterproof construction with fully taped fly and bathtub floor
- Internal tension shelves provide strength and storage to keep your tent organized; gear can be stored off the floor using internal mesh pockets
- Light diffuser pocket turns your headlamp into an allover internal light source
- Mesh and canopy zippered through-vent allows ventilation and a view through the fly window
- Triple-reinforced UVX window provides a brighter interior and visibility of exterior conditions
- Loops for clothesline or internal guy system
- Reflective guyout loops and zipper pulls add visibility in low light
- Guyout line, line tensioners and high-quality DAC aluminum J-stakes included
- Tent fly, poles and optional footprint (not included) can be pitched without the canopy to create a lightweight open-air shelter
- Free of flame-retardant chemicals; this tent may not adhere to CPAI-85
