OVERVIEW

The AMP Terrain Pro A/T P is an all terrain, all season tire manufactured for light trucks and SUVs. AMP offers a 60,000 mile treadwear warranty with this model.

The tire promotes great all terrain traction. The tread design features a durable, staggered block pattern, a high void ratio and a detailed upper sidewall design which work together to boost the model’s soft, loose and uneven terrain gripping ability. This tread upgrades the tire’s grip both on- and off-road. The upper sidewall design provides additional biting edges, which prevent the tire’s traction failure on loose dirt and in deep mud. The tread’s staggered elements and high void ratio upgrade the self-cleaning ability. These tread elements prevent mud and snow from packing into the tire’s footprint, while also avoiding stone retention. This guarantees a safer off-road performing ability.

The tread design and the all season compound also manage to improve the all weather performance. The durable compound keeps the rubber flexibility in various temperatures, while the optimally siped tread blocks boost the grip in dry, wet and winter weather conditions with extra biting edges. These tread blocks also ensure the tire’s secure performance on snow- and ice-covered road surface conditions. During the tire’s on-road drive, the optimal groove pattern avoids hydroplaning by dispersing water and slush from below the footprint.
