The Landsail RapidDragon RD-3 AS is an All-Season touring tire for passenger vehicles and certain CUVs/SUVs, offering reliable year-round performance. Wet Traction Technology features proprietary rapid water-diversion technology and precisely placed circumferential tread grooves to inhibit water turbulence formation, improving drainage and protecting against hydroplaning. Enhanced winter traction incorporates 3D sipes on the tread that inhibit tread block bending, which ensures tread stiffness during braking and handling while also improving traction performance in winter conditions. Developed using computer simulation technology, the tire has an optimized pitch sequence and an offset block design to reduce road noise, resulting in a comfortable ride. Further optimizing the tire, the computer-optimized void ratio and contact patch with uniform footprint pressure distribution are engineered to improve tread wear, handling, and contribute to better fuel economy. It is also M+S (Mud and Snow) rated on the sidewall, indicating better traction in the mud and snow, providing reliable performance in various climates.
