The Carlisle CSL 16 is a highway terrain all season tire manufactured for trailers. This tire is NOT MEANT TO BE MOUNTED ON LIGHT TRUCKS, as its construction will not support the weight and performing style of such vehicles. It can ONLY BE MOUNTED ON TRAILERS. The model promotes great all weather traction. The ribbed tread pattern consists of five ribs and specially placed in-block sipes that increase the dry, wet and winter weather traction. The tread elements keep the tire on the road which ensures a safer driving experience in all weather. The wide circumferential tread grooves manage to increase water and slush eliminating capability to actively resist hydroplaning during the drive. The better hydroplaning and excellent traction improve the tire’s performing ability. The ribbed tread design also enhances the tire’s controllability. It maintains the tire’s road contact at all times, which actively boosts the steering responsiveness and driving stability. In other words, the steering becomes faster and more precise in its responsiveness to the towing vehicle’s instructions, while its structure is secured against the driving pressure affecting it during the drive.
