Maxtrek Fortis T5
OVERVIEW
The Maxtrek Fortis T5 is a high performance all season tire manufactured for passenger vehicles.
The model guarantees exceptional all weather traction. The asymmetric tread design and the all season silica-based tire compound work together to improve the dry, wet and winter weather road gripping ability. The compound does not lose its flexibility in colder temperatures, while the tread design maintains its firm grip on the road surface in winter weather as well. The wide circumferential and numerous lateral grooves manage to actively resist hydroplaning by dispersing water and slush from below the tire’s footprint. The enhanced traction and first-rate hydroplaning resistance ensures a safer year round performance.
The tire’s tread pattern improves its controllability significantly. The three center ribs and large shoulder tread blocks boost the steering responsiveness, the driving stability and the cornering ability by keeping a firm grip on the road surface. They provide a stabilized tire structure during the drive, while also improving the steering responsiveness and accuracy to the driver’s commands. The shoulder tread blocks improve the number of biting edges that firmly grip the road surface and provide a firm cornering ability and power. The combination of these enhancements offers a secure high speed controllability.
The Fortis T5 has great high speed performance. The internal structure and the tread pattern ensure a safer high speed drive by keeping the tire on the road. The internal structure prevents deformation by reinforcing the tire’s optimal shape. As the tire does not deform under the driving pressure, it is able to perform to its highest capability with ease.
Manufacturers recommend changing tires every 10 years. As long as tires are properly stored before they are sold, the year of their manufacture will not shorten their service life.
