Michelin’s Street/Sport Truck Summer tire, the Latitude Sport 3, is designed as Original Equipment for high performance crossovers and SUVs (ie: Porsche Macan S and Macan Turbo). As designated by Michelin’s Green X branding, the Latitude Sport 3 is eco-focused in its manufacturing methods as well as in vehicle fuel economy through low rolling resistance. Delivering world-class dry and wet road traction, handling and cornering, the Latitude Sport 3 feature a new tread compound formed into an asymmetric design that gives a greater void ratio to increase wet grip in comparison to its predecessors. To improve rolling resistance and to enhance vehicle fuel economy, the tire features sipes with varying thickness that decrease tread block deformation. (These are not intended to be driven in near-freezing temperatures, through snow or on ice.)
