Toyo Proxes RR 235/40R17 BSW. A D.O.T. compliant competition tire developed for high-performance track use, including road racing, track days, and high-performance driving schools. It is specifically designed for dry conditions and is not recommended for street use in wet or cold weather. The tire’s symmetric two-groove, semi-slick tread design and special racing compound provide a maximum contact patch and ultimate dry traction, resulting in superior cornering force and consistent, fast lap times. The Proxes RR comes “race-ready” with a shallow 4/32″ tread depth from the factory, eliminating the need for shaving. Its reinforced sidewalls and high-modulus bead filler provide excellent steering response and feedback, while strategically placed wear inspection holes allow for easy monitoring of tread depth.
