The switch allows the operator to power on the central vacuum at the hose rather than just at the inlet valve. Included in the package is a 30 foot USA-made hose, a stainless steel telescopic wand, wave combination tool that works on all surfaces, 12 inch hard floor brush, dusting brush, crevice tool, upholstery tool, caddy bag for storage, and a hose hanger to keep your hose on. This package will work with all major brands of central vacuum, and will work with 1.25 inch vacuum attachments. It will not power on electric brushes, but will work with turbocats, air turbines, and any other non-electric attachments.
