Description

Homes are filled with sensitive electronics that are sensitive to damage by common power surges in your electrical, telephone, and cable lines. Electrical voltage surges originate both inside and outside the home. More advanced appliances and lighting sources create voltage surges. In time, these surges can damage electronics or reduce the operating life of expensive appliances. The CH Surge Modules are easily installed in the loadcenter to mitigate unwanted voltage surges and protect electronics from damage. Eaton’s CHNSURGE (3/4-inch) Surge Module provides surge current protection per phase up to 18,000 A and begin clamping voltages at 150 Vac L-N. A single LED indicates the surge module is protecting both phases of circuit distribution. Type CH circuit breaker surge protective device Two pole Protection: L-N, L-L Operating voltage: 150V L-N, 300V L-L Nominal discharge current: 3kA Interrupt rating: 10kAIC Frequency rating: 50/60 Hz Surge current: 18 kA Branch spaces used: 2
